Scott Greer - Performer/Writer
Scott is thrilled to be back at 1812 for his seventh holiday show. Scott has worked at many of the area theatres including: The Walnut, Arden, People’s Light, InterAct, Lenape RPAC, and Delaware Theatre Co. Regional Theatre credits include: Actors Theatre of Louisville, Round House, BoarsHead, Westport Country Playhouse. Awards: 2001 Barrymore for Best Actor in a Play (It’s All True, InterAct); 2002 Barrymore Best Actor in a Musical (Baby Case, Arden), and the 2002 F. Otto Haas Award for an Emerging Theatre Artist. His adaptation of David Foster Wallace’s Brief Interviews with Hideous Men, produced by 1812 Productions, earned him a 2004 nomination for Best New Play. Scott has also appeared as a solo vocalist with The Philadelphia Orchestra. Love always to Jen and Lily.
Tony Braithwaite - Performer/Writer
Tony most recently played George Burns in Act 2 Playhouse’s, Say Goodnight Gracie. This is Tony’s 7th holiday show for 1812 Productions. Tony has also worked with Philadelphia Theatre Company, Arden Theatre Company, Philadelphia and Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festivals, and others. Recent television work includes playing himself as an acting coach on MTV’s reality show, Made. Tony is a 4-time Barrymore Awards host, a 3-time nominee, and a 1-time winner (The Big Bang). Currently he is directing Penn’s Mask and Wig show and, 12 Angry Men, at his beloved alma mater, St. Joe’s Prep. Tony will reprise his one-man show, Look Mom, I’m Swell, at The Arden this spring.
Dave Jadico - Performer/Writer
This is Dave’s seventh show with 1812, including five holiday shows, Box Office of the Damned and Batboy. He has played numerous Shakespearian clowns at The Lantern Theater including Trinculo, Dogberry and one of the Dromios in the Barrymore Award winning ensemble of Comedy of Errors. He has also worked at The Arden, The Walnut, InterAct, and most recently Mum Puppettheatre in The Fantasticks for which he received a Barrymore Award. Additionally, he has received nominations for Scenic Design (The Foocy) and Original Music (Mad Woman of Chaillot). He is Artistic Director and a fourteen year member of ComedySportz. Mary Carpenter - Performer/Writer
Mary Carpenter Has worked in Philadelphia Theatre for the last fifteen years as an actress, director, teacher, and writer. She has performed with a variety of Philadelphia Theatre Companies including 1812 Productions where she just directed The Search for Signs of Intelligent Life in the Universe, the Arden, the Wilma, InterAct, Freefall Productions, and more. Mary has been a performing and teaching member of ComedySportz for fifteen years where she has also served as Artistic Director. Her improvisation training includes work with Second City, Keith Johnstone, Mick Napier, Jeff Wirth and Todd Stashwick. She holds theatre degrees from Northwestern University and The London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts. She’s thrilled to be working with 1812 again. Thanks to Jen, Jim, Jimmy & Michael.
Steven Wright - Performer/Writer
Steve is an actor director and teacher in Philadelphia, and is thrilled to be back with 1812 to laugh at politics once again. Steve has worked with such companies as Azuka Theatre, Walnut Street Theatre, The Arden, Bckseet Productions, Blackstarr Collaborative, and Cardboard Box Collaborative. Thanks to the cast, crew, and to the ”old man“ Doc.
Jennifer Childs - Writer/Director
Jennifer Childs is the Artistic Director and Co-Founder of 1812 Productions. This is the eighth Holiday Show she has conceived and directed for 1812. Most recently she was seen in 1812’s The Search For Signs of Intelligent Life in the Universe and The Arden’s Dex and Julie Sittin’ in a Tree. My heart to Scott and love to Lily for whom I want this world to be a better place.
